Welcome to GreenCells!

Single-cell RNA-seq is a powerful technique for exploring gene expression while preserving cellular heterogeneity. Many single-cell studies mainly focus on the analysis of protein-coding gene, while the investigation of lncRNAs has not been fully explored, especially in plants.
Therefore, we have developed GreenCells, a comprehensive platform dedicated to exploring the characterization, expression patterns, and functions of lncRNAs in plants. GreenCells consolidates single-cell transcriptome sequencing data covering 14 tissues across 8 plant species, encompassing 179 samples from the 10x Genomics platform and 4,511 samples from Smart-seq. The database incorporates annotations for 87,311 lncRNAs and employs visualization techniques like and to visualize the cell clusters annotated by us, and identified 63,802 mRNA and 1,666 lncRNA among these annotated cell clusters. Furthermore, we constructed cell-type-level co-expression networks and run GO enrichment analysi for each clusters along with inferred .
